Just checking back in it's been a couple weeks.

I still haven't used my chrome browser since I was hear last.

It's shut down until I can use my passwords, it's just too annoying without it. I have so many websites that need to be logged into.

No, unfortunatelly they haven't released any news regarding a possible integration between RoboForm and Chrome. Trust me, I'm monitoring that too hoping something will show up.

Anyway, when that'll happen the news will spread.

I really wish they would let us know. I absolutely love Chrome and the only reason I keep opening IE or Firefox is because of RoboForm.

I have 100 logins on Roboform--it would be inconvenient to move to Chrome, UNLESS my password file could be moved to Chrome in one shot. Then Roboform would be out. It seems likely that Google will do that in time, so Roboform needs to get hopping.

Does it appear that 7.0 will have the ability to integrate with Chrome? Roboform folks certainly aren't very good about keeping their clients informed on plans... It's not just the password manager that I enjoy in Roboform, it's the 'identity' thing where I can keep all my info, including credit card info - I do a lot of business on the web, and that feature saves me so much time. But if the next release doesn't support Chrome, I'm just going to have to try something else - Chrome is just too good (and so much better than FF3) for me not to make the change, and it's just too complicated using two browsers, imo. I don't mind purchasing licenses for a replacement product, but I haven't found anything that has both password management and identity management, that can be integrated into Chrome - anyone have any suggestions? TIA

It's hard to tell, indeed they aren't very transparent on what they intend to do with Roboform - but then again, lots of companies do this to use the element of surprise to gain more momentum when the time comes.

My opinion is that they will release a version for MAC (one of their representatives said it's coming "as early as next year" - http://www.roboformchrome.com/topic/roboform-for-mac-released-in-2009), and the main browser on MAC is Safari, which uses the Webkit engine - a reason they said Roboform doesn't work with Chrome is the webkit engine, so I'm thinking if they manage to integrate it with Safari, it will be easier to do the same with Chrome. So in my opinion is a matter of time. I don't know of other solutions to use a password/identity manage with Chrome (other than its internal password manager), so for now still using 2, 3, 4 browsers.

I also like the idea of Chrome. I'm very frustrated w/IE. But I'm with you guys, that without RF, Chrome is nothing! I've been with RF for at least 6 years (that's alot of passwords / info)!

I keep trying to install the Adobe Flash plugin, but it wants me to close Chrome. Does Adobe not work w/Chrome either? 'Cause when I close Chrome nothing happens.

try installing it from chrome directly, not from another browser. flash works with chrome, at least i don't have any problems with it.

I searched for "roboform chrome" hoping to find that there were Chrome addins available for Roboform.

I was so disappointed. Who is the stick in the mud here... Google or Roboform?

Finally a solution that works. Check out lastpass.com for a terrific FREE product that imports all Roboform information and works with Chrome through bookmarklets. It works like a charm, syncs between computers and gets a rave review from Windows Secrets. Have a look. It might just be what solves this problem.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to check lastpass, I remember looking at it a while back but nothing was available for chrome. Though this actually means we'll be using lastpass instead of roboform on chrome, it might be a good workaround until roboform releases something.
