Great work Spase, the extension is coming right along.
the integrated toolbar at the bottom (-enable-extension-toolstrips) is looking and working great. Nice work.

Well done on the Roboform holder (-enable-extension-toolstrips), so far very integrated at the bottom of the screen, however version 1.0.9 extension has generate some random crash for the past one day.
The problem posted previous regarding the "Fill & submit" is not resolve, the form filler has improveed but it still not working on the 2nd page this site https://www.hongleongonline.com.my, it won fill the password field.
Looking forward to your next release, and once again thank you for making Roboform work with Google Chrome.
I'm using Roboform Pro in Internet Explorer on Windows 7 x64. I installed chrome extension and activate it, but when I go with Chrome to any password protected site, Roboform in Chrome say to me in pop-up, that I'm using free version and I have to activate because I have too many passcards (but reactivation didn't helped).
In Roboform toolbar in Chrome are all settings correct (user data directory, in "about" I can see that I'm using pro version...).
In Internet Explorer everything works still with no problems.
Can anybody help me? Is there some problem or I'm doing something wrong? Thank you a lot! :)
So far x64 version is not guaranteed to work.

To my regret, Google marked extension toolstrips as "deprecated". It is not guaranteed that this code won't be completely removed in future Chrome releases.
spase: Ok. Thank you for info and for your work. I know it's alpha, so I didn't expect anything to be guaranteed :) If this isn't some known problem on my side, I will wait for some next release.
Thanks and looking forward to Opera support too.
Well thats too bad that it may be removed because the holder at the bottom of the page is a great way to implement roboform.
I also must agree with wongblack, I am noticing a lot more scriptable plugin has become unresponsive errors and full on chrome crashes with this new version.
Too many new code were added - impementation of text-coord matching, autosave, initial Opera support etc.
Stability things are planned on the next big release in a week or so.
Correction release - 1.0.9.2
http://www.roboform.us/pvt/spase/roboform-chrome.crx
- Refined Javascript code. Made a workaround for the issue that prevented Roboform toolbar to appear on some sites (and made it disappear on other ones)
- Some cleanup in DLL code

I don't mean "One-button Roboform Extension" that is in fact a bookmarklet packed into extension. Instead, there will be a normal Roboform integration (but the toolbar will be still at the bottom of page, though, I'm thinking on how to put it to the top).
Hey buddy, first off, much thanks for your dedication and hard work on this much needed 'extension' for chrome. I've found the toolbar at the bottom of the page to be a nuisance at times, as it covers/blocks the area where one would see the url if the cursor is hovered over that respective link. If it isn't much trouble to make it an option to place the toolbar at the top of the page, or even 'move' it freely around, like detach it from the browser completely. Thanks again man!

Already been addressed, with the integrated toolbar in the latest version. Follow these steps:
Right click the shortcut on your desktop
click properties
in the target box paste the following code after what is in there already:
-enable-extension-toolstrips
press ok
Launch Chrome with that shortcut in order to have integrated toolbar (wont block the URL or cover the bottom of webpages)
The path in the "target" box should read something like this if you have followed these steps correctly: "C:\...\..\...Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -enable-extension-toolstrips

[Chrome] Version 1.0.9.4
http://www.roboform.us/pvt/spase/roboform-chrome.crx
Changes since last official build:
- Greatly improved formfilling from Identity
- Greatly improved FindSubmitButton
- Should be more stable as more buffer checks against bounds added
Hi Spase,
Well done on fixing the "Fill & Submit" glitch in Gmail,
However the glitch on my favorite banking site http://www.hongleongonline.com.my is still facing problem, after fill in the username (HLB1.jpg) and submit it will go to the second pages where password can be fill, unfortunately roboform in Chrome cannot find forms to fill on this web page (HLB2.jpg)
Please look in to it, Thank.
Wongblack
Can you send me the content of the second page in HTML (save to HTML, possibly replace HIDDEN form fields and other personal data with dummy values - I don't need really login, I need to examine HTML/DOM content)? Presonally I cannot test it myself as I don't have an account on that bank.
If yes. please do it via Roboform Support.
Spase:
Roboform doesnt seem to be able to detect the login boxes for filling or saving on pandora's log in.
http://www.pandora.com/#/account/sign-in/
Just fyi
Does not work at http://www.fonic.de/html/
I was very happy about this until I realized it doesn't integrate with the pop-up apache login windows. Any idea when support for that is going to be available?
Should this work with Roboform2Go?
I thought I had tested it before buying a 2go licence, but when I uninstalled Roboform from the PC and relied solely on 2go the toolbar no longer appears on chrome windows although the green icon is still there next to the address bar. This applies both to Chrome installed on the PC and also the PortableApps version on the same USB stick as Roboform2go.
I have to say, it also stopped working on FireFox Portable, although it does still work on IE installed on the PC.

@spase any new developments/releases?
RoboForm2Go Ver 6.9.99; Google Chrome 5.0.375.55; Chrome Adapter 1.0.9.4; '-enable-extension-toolstrips' used.
The 'Roboform Holder' appears at the bottom of the screen and when I click it a grey pop-box appears above it with just the words 'RoboForm'. Possibly this is meant to be the actual RF toolbar, though none ever appears. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thanks for the extension and any help you can offer.
I just saw that the official Roboform site has version 1.0.9.51 of the adapter.
Hello! I am a non-techie user of roboform- I only use the basics for logins.
I have just installed Roboform toolbar on Chrome and tried to fill login information for the site WIX http://www.wix.com/create/my-account using the roboform bar at the bottom of Chrome. Roboform says it can not find blank form fields. When I log in to WIX, a little bubble pops up independent of the original page.
Is there a way to configure roboform toolbar in chrome to read pop up logins?
If not, what steps should I take to see my wix information and then manually type in the fields?
Thanks any and all feedback is appreciated
Hi,
I tried v6.9.99 and v7.04 beta (normal installations, no 2go).
Chromium 6.0.424.0 (48814)
Roboform for Chrome v1.0.9.51
and I don't get the Roboform toolbar but only the placeholder "Roboform Holder".
What the hell I'm doing wrong?...

you need to use google chrome, not chromium. http://www.google.com/chrome
Then once you've installed it make sure you edit a shortcut for it and always use that shortcut to launch google chrome:
Right click the shortcut on your desktop
click properties
in the target box paste the following code after what is in there already:
-enable-extension-toolstrips
press ok
Launch Chrome with that shortcut in order to have integrated toolbar (wont block the URL or cover the bottom of webpages)

Thanks for your reply,
but http://www.roboform.com/chrome.html states: RoboForm now works with Chrome and Chromium browsers.
So Chrome instead of Chromium shouldn't be the necessity anymore :)
Chromium is started with:
--enable-user-scripts
--enable-extensions
--enable-extension-toolstrips
Regards,
Highend
I am having the same problems as some of the others. I have been using roboform with Chrome for a bit now and noticed some hanging so I upgraded to a newer version (I think I have the latest). Yesterday I added the -enable-extension-toolstrips
My Target is: C:\Users\Connie\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -enable-extension-toolstrips
It was working as expected except yesterday I was doing some webpage development and I clicked to close the toolbar (I couldn't see what the bottom of the page was doing). I can't get it back. I have a roboform holder but the toolbar has been closed and I can't reopen it. I have tried to enable toolbars from the windows tray icon. I have tried Alt-R in the window. But I think the tray icon is for the Regular roboform not the chrome version.
Connie
I hear and understand all of the frustration with Roboform. I, too, used to love Roboform but they are making it hard to stay a loyal customer.
I did not see this work-around posted on this forum but here is what works for me:
Google Chrome has an extension called "IE Tabs" on it's website. Basically when you launch Chrome you will see a little icon on the upper right that looks like a little IE tab. When you go to a site that you want to fill out fields, have Roboform fill in passwords, etc., just click the IE Tabs icon and it will then launch Chrome with Internet Explorer compatibility. Once this happens you will have your regular Roboform drop down box to fill, save, etc.
IE Tabs will also allow you to save the URL under a bookmark category called IE Tabs. Once you have it there you can just click on the bookmark, under IE Tabs, and it will automatically use the IE compatibility.
Hope this little hint helps till Siber Systems gets their caca together!
I tried everything to get the toolbar to reappear. I moved roboform to start after the windows start (windows 7 using Soluto) and it magically re-appeared...not sure if it is that or an update or something. Because I saw goodsync running as well.

This is absolutely inexcusable that Robo form does not work properly with chrome, it has no problems with the inferior Internet Explorer and Firefox but I just don't understand why the fastest browser namely chrome, can't work with Robo form, what did Robo form do, hire the programmers at Microsoft to write horrible code that is full of bugs? Robo form for chrome is a complete disaster, I disabled it because it flat-out doesn't not work with 99% of the things I want to do, it was supposed to be fixed like three months ago. Come on Robo form get your crap together and give us what we pay for: a stable Robo form that will work with chrome, who gives a ship about Internet Explorer or Firefox anymore
Every once in a while my roboform for chrome will not show. I will get Roboform holder but restarting chrome will not bring back the toolbar. I will have to restart my whole computer which is getting rather old. I will try just logging out next time and see if that works.
Any suggestions? Anyone else seeing this problem or is there another place to record issues?

In fairness, you paid for Roboform that works with the browsers it states on it's main website. Chrome is not (yet) one of those browsers.
The extension posted here is clearly marked ALPHA - it is not meant to be a working, finished product in any way, and is mainly here for testing purposes. By all means, if you have issues with the extension, I'm sure Roboform would love to hear your feedback, so they know what issues need to be worked on.
I'd love to see a more functional version of Roboform for Chrome, too, but I understand that Siber Systems is not a huge company, and probably can't devote as many programming hours to this as you'd like. My guess is they're devoting most of their resources to finishing Version 7, as it's still in Beta. FF and IE still account for almost 80% of the browser market, so Chrome users will just have to be patient.

Amen to that..... thats all we've been doing here folks, we've just been testing the extension for chrome and providing feedback to their programmers. Nothing more.
All due respects. How long has this effort been ongoing?
and FYI - I'm willing to pay you for a Chrome version of Roboform and I suspect others would also.
My real concern here is that if ya'll take much longer.. that someone is going to write an extension and make your effort OBE for a lot of folks and that would be a shame since your original product is such a winner.
I still have Roboform.. I just have to use Firefox...
try harder guys.... and if you need money.. say so.
You have all raised valid points however I think if we took a survey of Roboforms paying customers they would much rather see a working chrome extension then version 7 for micro trash Internet exploder which already has a stable version and has for years same with Firefox, chrome is faster than Firefox and I really doubt most of cyber systems paying customer are using Internet exploder, why use an inferior piece of crap, I took a dump and produced a better browser than micro trash, well my feedback is I've tried the chrome extension three times and it has never ever ever worked, don't get me wrong I love Roboform I have been a customer ever since it came out, that's why I just don't understand why they can't produce a quality product for chrome like they've done for the other browsers, and if anyone here is using Internet explorer, shame on you

This has caused major upset with Chrome, and I tried uninstalling Roboform to get rid of the Chrome addon. That did not work -- it was still there when I just reinstalled the regular Roboform. Can anyone help me find out where the Roboform for Chrome addon is hiding so that I can remove it? Many thanks!!
I had this same problem with RF and Iron 6.0.475 and Claudiu's solution worked for me. I didn't even have to delete the entry (LowerToolbarVisibleiron.exe) in my case, I just changed the value to 1 and restarted Iron. Cheers, Claudiu :)
Claudiu - 1 year ago »
In order to enable the toolbar you have to delete this registry entry, so go to Start-Run type regedit and press ok, then browse to this key and delete it (do a backup of your registry before you do any changes, that's recommended usually):
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Siber Systems\RoboForm]
"LowerToolbarVisiblechrome.exe"=-
I too was hoping that the Roboform Alpha for Chrome would progress and stabilize a little faster. I run on Win7 (64bit) with Chrome 8.x and have problems with the add-on crashing (sends results to Chrome support). Its not usable for me at this point so I hope it stabilizes soon.
They have had the same version which does not work for months now. It would appear that they aren't too interested in supporting RF for Chrome.
