I have found Roboform support (expecially Justin) great! Until recently. I now have a problem. Had to reinstall Firefox and can not get a Roboform toolbar up. I have already waited 3 days for a call back and each time I try calling now I wait for > half an hour and have to hang up. I tried calling Options 3 and 4 (sales and marketing) and there never seems anyone to respond or call back. Are they still in business??????

I think it's hit and miss Juliansdad. A lot depends on who you get through to, they do have some good support staff, but in my experience they have some bad ones as well.

The other month I discovered their facebook and twitter pages and they seem to be quite active over there, maybe you will get more joy there.

Reck, I've had similar experiences to yours. The one time I was able to receive a callback from a person, he was unable to solve my technical issue and kicked it upstairs to a higher level tech.

In spite of my repeated requests, I couldn't speak to a higher level tech to resolve my problem. I still can't get my RoboForm 2Go to work properly. Do you know of a RoboForm expert or consultant around that charges for tech support?

I can vouche for the affiliate section of the RoboForm support (as I haven't used their technical yet). The guy in charge there, Simon Davis, has always been supportive and very helpful.

Just remembered another post I made a while back about a problem with UAC in vista and roboform. I went back and read it and noticed I had similar problems with roboform support there as well, i.e. not reading the email and replying with answers that have nothing to do with the problem.

In this case they told me to run a 32bit version of firefox even though as far as i know there is no such thing as an official 64bit version of firefox for windows. So how I could I be running anything other than a 32bit version lol.

Does anyone else get irritated when talking to roboform support? I've spoken to them a number of times over the years and start getting very frustrated the more I talk to them.

My biggest complain is that they don't seem to read the email I send and this is not an isolated issue.

The latest message I sent them was regarding a problem moving a tab from one firefox window to another. I spent a while writing down exactly what was happening and the process I went through to get to the problem. The answer I got back was a fix for making the roboform topbar appear! The second reply I got told me to install the latest version of roboform but I had already told them in the previous message I was already running the latest version.

The final message was this.

"That should be the case if it is doing when you drag a new tab. IF i drag a tab it opens the toolbar the saem way if i open it in a new window or if i open a page from a tab. If you normally have to select the show toolbar button then you will have to do the same when dragging a tab."

Again what? He says if I normally have to select the show toolbar button then you will have to do the same. But I specifically said I don't normally have to the click the show toolbar button in a previous email.

I just seem to spending my time repeating myself. Does anyone know where the support guys are based? Maybe they are foreign and struggle a little with the english language in which case I can understand a little but should they be employing people who don't understand their customers?

Anyone else have a similar experience or I have just been unlucky?
