Agree. If you are paranoid about your data and don't trust anything with name "online" on it then LastPass is not for you, but if you are ok with it then Roboform does not have a chance not only on technical level but of course on prohibite pricing model (per computer as opposed to be per subsription).
I bank online, shop online, etc etc so for me personally (provided good encryption is in place) it's as safe as doing any other sensitive things on internet.

LassPass will do to RoboForm what Gmail did to Hotmail 4 years ago - kill it.

No it won't. Gmail and Hotmail were both online services, while Lastpass and Roboform are in a different category. Lastpass is online, Roboform is offline. There will always be people that don't trust keeping their information online (like me) or simply continue using desktop installed software because of their habit.

If you want to compare the two, you should compare Roboform's Online service with Lastpass (and agree that the latter surpasses what Roboform Online currently offers).

With lastpass you can export your logins for backup, they are also automatically saved in your App folder as well, each time your login. So even if server is not available, or they are out of business you still will have access to all your logins. LastPass was designed from ground up for online/offline scenario unlike Roboform which was designed to be local only.
I was able to export all my passcards from Roboform (400+) with no problems and 90% of those worked immediately, very few required minor adjustements. But I'm completely RoboForm free and could not be happier. I think charging per workstation for Roboform license is plain stupid on their side, not only lastPass is free, it's free for any computer you plan to use it on.
LassPass will do to RoboForm what Gmail did to Hotmail 4 years ago - kill it.

I wanted to try it out, but RoboForm doesn't seem to be able to export all my passcards. Using the Print List method, it stops in the M entries. The only other concern I have with this approach is getting new logins saved using them (and not elsewhere), and then them going out of business at some point in the future.

After 7 years of using Roboform I just stumled upon lastpass.com
It's everything what I ever wanted. It's web based so not synchronisation neccessary, all the features of Roboform, nice integration in Firefox and IE and bookmarklets support for Chrome (for now).
See video below how it works.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxR2FH1O83A&fmt=18
Just helping out souls like mine which wanted free, web based, fully functional password manager.
