huh he works for the company? How do you know Claudiu?

If this is the case Jerry then I agree you should say from the start that you work for the company your promoting. Just seems a bit insincere if you don't, especially when your saying stuff like "I'm using it for years and it is just great!".

I downloaded it yesterday and i've had a quick look. I did see what encryption method was used and that it could be changed. However it doesn't seem to provide anything else other than password management. Granted this is the primary purpose of the software but I think i've got almost as many safe notes as logins in Roboform. I store a lot of passwords and pincodes in safe notes that aren't suitable for logins. I even store little bit's of information that aren't even sensitive because it's so easy to open a safe note (without having to type a password in) from the icon in the system tray.

For me to consider anything other than RF it would have to have some kind of safe note facility and form filling would be nice as well. In regard to the form filling, better more advanced support for custom fields would be extra nice because I think RF is lacking in this area. I've sent a couple of requests of to them over the years but nothing has come out to sort it out.

Regards.

thanks for the suggestion but in the future you should disclose when you work for the company whose products you recommend.

haven't tried the program but i might take a look at it.

Thanks Jerry,

It’s always good to hear about other password manager software. A couple of questions for you.

Does it have any equivalent to Roboforms safe notes? I use loads and loads of safenotes to store sensitive information.

Can it fill out online forms that ask for the same information, like address, car registration etc? In roboform you can fill out all this sort of information and even create custom fields, then when you come to fill out online forms it can use this information to fill out the form for you.

Do you know what type of encryption is used to secure the passwords, you can choose the encryption method to use.

I’m going to find some time to download and have a go with this software but if you know any of my answers I’d be grateful to hear.

Thanks

Hey everyone!

Have you ever tried Sticky Password manager? I'm using it for years and it is just great! Integrated right into browser or any application like Skype, ICQ, QiP, so you have all password and accounts on one place in highly secured database. Filling of multiple login sites is automatic - far more better then in Roboform. Actualy I switched from Roboform, because of its poor toolbar solution and poor user interface. Try Sticky Password, you'll be impressed I think.
