Yes to get around that problem there should be separate options to fill and submit for identities and passcards.

Lastpass allows you visit any web page and if it has a passcard it will just automatically log you in. I was hoping Roboform could do the same.

Sorry reck, I misunderstood. I meant when I select a passcard from Roboform it opens that website and fills/submit. But you're right, when I visit a page I have a passcard stored for it doesn't fill and submit until I click the toolbar button. And as far as I know there's no option to do that right now.

However, wouldn't this be a possible problem, I mean this would automatically fill and submit on a website you're visiting, for instance if it detects a form on a website it would fill and submit it automatically and you might end up buying something you don't want for - that for identities, not passcards.

Hi Claudiu,

If I select the passcard from Roboform it goes to the site, fills in the form and submits. But if I just use my firefox bookmark it goes to the site, Roboform fills in the form and never submits.

I have that option ticked that you mention. In fact I tried ticking all those options in the autofill section...and it does autofill, just doesn't submit when using FF bookmarks.

So just so i'm clear you can totally ignore roboform, just go to a site via google or a bookmark and roboform will fill in your info AND SUBMIT?

hi reck, for me it's working to select a passcard/bookmark from the list and it will automatically go to that website and fill/submit. make sure you have in Options->AutoFill "Fill and submit is the default action for matching passcards" checked.

How can I get Roboform to automatically log me into websites? I can get it to fill in the field for me but I always have to hit the login button.

If I use the Roboform passcard it fills in the information and logs me in, I want it to do this if I use a bookmark to go to a page that I have a passcard for as well.

Claudiu on "Rapidshare Site Robo Problem"

Hi and welcome to the forums.
1. Since there is only ONE box, why is Robo popping up?
To my knowledge, Roboform automatically tries to fill in the fields based on the name that field has in the source code (so it might be that those fields have the same form name)

2. Since Robo is set for https://ssl. why is it activated at http://?
Roboform does domain name matching, so it will show as recommended passcard the saved one for all subdomains of a matching domain (for instance it will show the rapidshare user/password for any link you visit on rapidshare)

3. Since there is no need for Robo to be there, how do I stop it?
The solution I see would be to disable Fill & Submit as the default action for passcards. This way when you visit rapidshare roboform won't fill in anything and you will have to use the keyboard shortcut when you want to fill in (Alt+]) or to use the fill button in the toolbar. You can do this by going into Roboform Options->Toolbar and uncheck the option Fill and Submit is the default action for Matching Passcards.

Hope this helps

January 25, 2009

Dear Forum,

Background: Windows 98SE (OK, OK, you can stop laughing)

                MSIE 5.5 SP2 (See above)

                Mozilla FireFox v2.0.0.14

Questions: I have a Rapidshare Premium Account. The address in Robo

                is https://ssl.rapidshare.com/premiumzone.html

and Robo is set to enter TWO fields, my user and pass.

However, when I go to a users folder such as

                http://rapidshare.com/users/ABC123 and all there is

ONE box to fill, Robo pops up and wants to fill it.

                1. Since there is only ONE box, why is Robo popping up?

                2. Since Robo is set for https://ssl. why is it activated at http://?

                3. Since there is no need for Robo to be there, how do I stop it?

BTW, if I use passcard blocking of https://ssl. on a http://rapidshare.com,

Robo won't come up when I want to fill in the Premium download.

    Any help out there?

    Thanks in advance.
