By the way, I was able to make the big white box disappear by changing the code in the cc.js file the following way (which I'm sure you are fully aware of the effects of doing so). But more importantly changing it this way fixes the bugs with the white rectangle affecting the functionality of yahoo mail, google reader, gmail....etc!! :-)

Roboform toolbar is having difficultly showing up on the following pages, the only way to get it to show up is to hit refresh about a hundred times. Even though it shows up it will not fill the password and user name boxes. I would imagine that there are many other pages roboform is not playing well with....

http://www.pineconeresearch.com/ <----seems form filling is working off and on, but mostly off.

As a temporary solution, you may decrease browser window's height. If there's a place below browser window, Robo puts toolbar there.

Yes, there will be future fixes for "big-blank-rectangle".

As for future plans. For robo toolbar positioning, there will be two possibilities:
1. Put it to the bottom of the page in a way as "integrated" Chromium solution does. But it will require starting Chrome with special command-line switch (need to modify shortcut that starts Chrome): --enable-extension-toolstrip.
2. Use kinda "context menu" that will be availabled through a button on chrome toolbar.

Im running chrome 4.1.249.1030 with roboform 1.0.7 and I've still got the white square bug, its at the bottom of every page with a colored background and also gmails spacing is still messed up as well as the white square hovering over the controls in google reader.
Screens below:

Gmail's sidebar looks like this only when the roboform extension is active:
Gmail

Netflix

Also, question about future plans: Are you planning anything to solve the problem with the roboform toolbar siting at the bottom of the browser covering the status bar of the browser (which shows what address is loading and where links are directing you when you mouseover them)??

I have one of those Pin sentry systems with my bank, yes its secure which I guess is what matters but still it used to be a pain to get into.
I have 2 passcards one to get to the first security fence which holds my members number, the second with my account number and the blank empty boxes for the pin sentry numbers and thats it.
So yes RF does it very well:)

ericc2728
Roboform toolbar appears ONLY if you open ANY http[s] page, say, http://www.google.com. I decided not to remove bookmarklet functionality in this extension. So you have 1) (local) Robo toolbar on Internet pages and 2) Robo Online if you click chrome toolbar button.

I'm using Chrome 4.1.249.1025 with Roboform 1.0.6.1. I was once able to use the toolbar at the bottom, but now it won't show up. I've tried disabling/enabling the extension, removing/reinstalling, but I can't get the toolbar again. Is there something I'm missing that makes the toolbar show up? I'm on a 'www' page, not the default chrome landing page.

I'm using Chrome 4.1.249.1021 & RoboForm Version: 1.0.6.1.

Seems to be working just fine except for when I go to Yahoo Mail, there is a big white box that covers of the upper left corner of the page. Therefore I can't see or use the Check Mail, New & Search buttons as well as the inbox, drafts, sent, spam, trash & contacts buttons.

If I disable the Roboform extension and reload the page it works just fine & once I re-enable it's back.

Here's a screen shot.

Thanks so much - I'm so stoked that a truly functional Roboform is working with Chrome now!

I have a multi-screen login procedure with my bank, and use separate passcards for each screen. You can skip certain fields if needed (like the "enter the 3rd letter from your password"), and pre-fill others. This works for me.

Roboform Adapter uses NSAPI plugin to do interaction between browser (Chrome) and Roboform. This plugin should be inserted into document. The square you see is just a plugin placeholder. I'll set its size to 0x0 in the next build.

Please note, 1.0.6.1 *can* chash if you use "Fill&Submit". As a _temporary_ workaround please use "FillForms" instead.

Good stuff... not sure if there was an attempt to address the google problems with this build but just reporting in that they are still present.

Gmail side bar spacing still messed up.
Google reader still has big white box in upper left of screen obscuring controls.
Also noticed a white box covering the upper left corner of spreadsheets opened in google docs.
Noticed this same big white square again, this time in the lower left corner of Mint.com login page (https://wwws.mint.com/login.event) and on many many other websites with colored backgrounds.

@spase first let me say that I am loving me some roboform toolbar in Chrome. I love having the full functionality.

Found a bug or two that i would like to report:

1. While the extension is active (not disabled) spacing for the navigation bar on the left side of the screen is messed up in gmail.

2. While the extension is active (not disabled) a white box in the upper left corner is present in google reader which obscures some of the controls in google reader.

When I disable the extension via the extensions menu in Chrome, these problems go away so I am 99% sure they are being caused by the extension.

This may be due to the lack of multiframe document support mentioned in your release notes?

I am running version 1.0.5.0 of the roboform extension with 4.1.249.1017 unknown (39874) of chrome on win xp.

Notes.
1. New versions appears several times a week. The next version appear, I drop a message here.
2. NOT implemented in ver.1.0.5:
- Basic authentication
- Autosave
- Multi-frame document support
- Some issues when filling from Identity
- Auto-submit form works partially.

3. Current versions WON'T work on non-HTTP pages; to make the Roboform toolbar appear, you must open any http:// page, say, www.google.com. On Google Last-Visited page and about:blank page the toolbar won't appear.

4. The button on Chrome toolbar works exactlty the same way as official 1-Button Roboform Extension for RoboformOnline. Don't be surprised if you click it.

5. Please DO NOT ask any questions to Roboform Support as support guys know nothing until the version is officially released. You may write directly to me. If you have any suggestions (not questions), you may use Roboform Support too.

http://www.kovrik.com/pvt/spase/roboform.crx

Similar things will be in a time available for Opera too.

I just switched banks and the new bank has a user-UNfriendly login procedure.
First screen is for your username, second screen is for a security question, third screen is for your password. I am able to bypass the security question, but would like to be able to use Roboform for the username screen and the password screen. Does anybody know how to do that?

I don't mean "One-button Roboform Extension" that is in fact a bookmarklet packed into extension. Instead, there will be a normal Roboform integration (but the toolbar will be still at the bottom of page, though, I'm thinking on how to put it to the top).

Sorry for so long time you're waiting for it.

The BETA roboform-for-chrome is nearly out. It now works with Chrome, not chromium so does not require costom chromium build.

To say more, Opera support is on the way...

I just discovered that Roboform appears to work with just about full functionality in a Chrome IE Tab window. You can get IE Tab or IE Tab Classic from the Chrome Extensions page.

This might be the best solution yet until RF comes out with a Chrome extension. Check it out.

I think it's hit and miss Juliansdad. A lot depends on who you get through to, they do have some good support staff, but in my experience they have some bad ones as well.

The other month I discovered their facebook and twitter pages and they seem to be quite active over there, maybe you will get more joy there.
